In another excellent Norwegian thriller, Thelma is a shy young student, just starting her schooling at the University in Oslo. This is the first time away from her very religious family from a small town in Norway. After Thelma has a seizure, she’s intensely drawn to Anja, who reciprocates her attraction. As the semester goes on, Thelma’s attraction to Anja becomes all encompassing, and she continues to have terrible seizures. It becomes apparent that her seizures are somehow related to dangerous, supernatural powers that she seems to have. When Anja disappears, Thelma decides to go back home, and uncovers secrets from her past.
