Dark. Violent. Weird. Perverse.
This Australian thriller is a difficult watch, but well worth it. The film takes place in Perth, Australia in the mid-80’s. John and Evelyn White are a murderous couple, preying on young girls, and they’re looking for their next victim. Teenager Vicki Maloney snuck out of the house to go to a party, when she is snatched by the assailants. She must endure horrible torture and degradation, as she’s trapped in their suburban home. She comes to realize she must drive a wedge between the couple, if she’s going to escape with her life.
