In a small island community, Moll is 27 years old and still living with her controlling family. She meets and falls for Pascal, a mysterious outsider. She moves in with him, and starts feeling more alive and empowered. However, when Pascal is arrested as a suspect in a series of murders, she’s left alone and afraid. While she fiercely defends him, she can’t help wondering if he’s actually a brutal killer.
